Digital Pigment Inks for Direct Printing on Textile
We are happy to reveal the technical specs of the new J-TEX ink for direct printing on textiles.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
J-TEX are water based pigment inks. They are studied for printers equipped with the latest generation piezo printheads. They contain a specific binder, thanks to which you can obtain excellent general fastness and a great printability. They have been meticulously developed by J-Lab to offer high quality performances. This series is composed by the following inks:
- J-TEX P-E compatible with EPSON printheads
- J-TEX P-K compatible with KYOCERA printheads
SUBSTRATES TO BE PRINTED AND APPLICATIONS
The inks have been studied for direct printing on a wide range of fabrics: cotton, blended-cotton, synthetic fabrics and viscose. The main
applications are: interior decoration and fashion.

USE AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- DIRECT PRINTING: this application requires “direct” printing onto the fabric. It is recommended to use a specific pre-treatment to increase the printing results. After printing it is necessary to fix at 150°- 170°C for 2-5 minutes. These conditions are not mandatory and they may vary according to the selected fabric. For the fixing process you can use one of the following equipment: hot press, IR or hot air oven.
- It is recommended to keep the product away from light and heat sources at the following temperature 20-25°C.
J-TECK will be exhibiting their newly released J-TEX inks at FESPA 2017.
